Congratulations to Zenja Seitzinger (SUNY-Geneseo) who was awarded Honorable Mention Undergraduate Poster Presentation by the 2020 North-Central Section Meeting of the Geological Society of America held virtually in May. Her poster “FLOW BANDS AND MICROLITE TEXTURES IN OBSIDIAN, MINYON FALLS RHYOLITE, AUSTRALIA” was co-authored with Dr. Kurt Knesel (Trinity University) and describes the results from her work on the 2019-20 Keck Geology Consortium project directed by Kurt Knesel on factors governing the eruptive styles of rhyolitic magmas.
